๐Ÿ†š LF vs Manual Analysis

Keyword research is a crucial step in any SEO strategy, but just manually analyzing Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) can be time-consuming and often yields incomplete or inaccurate results. That’s where LowFruits come in โ€“ designed to simplify the keyword research process by providing instant insights into SERP data, including weak spots and ranking difficulty. In this comparison, we’ll take a closer look at how manual analysis works, and then show how LowFruits provides a more efficient and effective way to identify weak spots in the SERP.

Take the keyword “best car for doordash” as an example.

Upon manually examining the SERP, you’ll observe:

  1. A low-authority website (DA = 1) is in the second position.
  2. Another low DA (DA = 1) is also in the sixth position.
  3. And so on…

These instances serve as indicators of “weakness” in the SERPs.

These suggest that a new or low-DA website has a strong chance of ranking at the top for this keyword.

You can improve your search engine rankings by identifying and targeting such keywords.

๐Ÿ’ก DA, or Domain Authority, is a metric used to assess the authority and ranking potential of a website.

SD = SERP difficulty Score.
SD is a score that assesses the ranking difficulty, considering the number of weak websites and other factors.
A value of 1 indicates that the keyword is easy to target.

There are two other levels of SD: 2 and 3, with 3 indicating a high-difficulty keyword.

SERP filters

When analyzing keywords in bulk, use the SERP analysis filters to navigate the results.

The primary filters you’ll want to use are SD and # Weak (number of weak websites).

Top 10: At least one weak spot in the top 10 search results.
Top 3: At least three weak spots in the top 10 search results.
DA < 10: At least one weak spot with a DA below 10 in the top 10 search results.

The “Filter” button on the right provides access to more advanced filters for in-depth SERP analysis.
